What You Can Expect From the Position

No two days in caregiving are exactly the same—but every day, your presence makes life better for someone. Your responsibilities will be guided by each client’s care plan and may include:
  • Personal Hygeine (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
  • Meal Preparation
  • Light Housekeeping and Laundry
  • Medication Reminders
  • Running errands or transportation to appointments
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Mobility assistance and fall prevention
  • Communication with family members and care coordinators

To qualify for CCSP or SOURCE:
• You must be enrolled in Medicaid
• Be 65+ or under 65 with a qualifying disability
• Meet medical, financial, and functional eligibility requirements
• Be certified by a physician as needing nursing facility-level care

The Community Care Services Program (CCSP) and the Elderly and Disabled Waiver Program (EDWP) are both part of Georgia’s Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services.

In simple terms:
• EDWP is the umbrella program that includes several waiver options (Including CCSP & SOURCE) to help elderly and disabled adults receive care at home instead of in a nursing facility.
• CCSP is one of the specific waiver programs offered under the EDWP. It provides personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and limited nursing services.

CCSP is a type of EDWP waiver, and both help individuals stay safe and supported at home with services funded by Medicaid.

No. If you qualify for CCSP or SOURCE, there is no cost to you. Elite Home Care is reimbursed directly by the State of Georgia for the services provided.
